About the Artist

I am a Romanian-born artist living and working in Dorset, on England’s south coast. I create original paintings and archival fine art prints from my studio in Poole, where every piece is made, produced and packed by hand.

My journey to painting has not been a straight line. Before dedicating myself to art, I earned a degree in Industrial Chemistry and worked as a laboratory technician — a place where precision, observation and curiosity shaped the way I see the world. In 2025, I completed a Level 2 Art and Design course at Arts University Bournemouth, which gave me the confidence to develop my own artistic voice.

Today, my inspiration comes from the landscapes around me and the experiences that have shaped my life. Living close to the sea, I am drawn to expansive skies, deep blues, wildflowers, gardens and quiet rivers — places that offer space to pause and breathe.

Although my work often begins with nature or my own photographs, it is never simply about recording a scene. I paint emotion through colour, texture and light, exploring themes of resilience, hope and transformation. My paintings reflect a belief that beauty can be found in ordinary moments and that nature has a remarkable ability to restore us.

Working in acrylics, mixed media and oil pastels, I enjoy experimenting with colour and mark-making, allowing each painting to develop its own rhythm and personality. Every piece is an invitation to slow down, look more closely and reconnect with the natural world.

For me, painting is both an act of observation and an act of optimism — a reminder that even after life’s most difficult seasons, there is always another sky, another garden, another tide.

All prints are produced using archival pigment inks on heavyweight textured fine art paper, offering 100+ year fade resistance. Every print you receive is made from an original I’ve held in my hands.
